Mrs. Eugene Smith Dies in California

Mrs. Eugene Smith, 70, former Milford township resident died of heart trouble on Saturday, March 29, at, her home in Redondo Beach, Calif. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at Redondo Beach and burial will be made in the Redondo Beach cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith lived on a farm four miles northeast of Ames until 17 years ago when they retired and moved to California. Mr. Smith died about two years ago.

Mrs Smith is survived by two brothers, E. T. Adams of Ames, and Charles Adams of South Dakota, four daughters, Mrs. Frank M. Fry and Mrs. Frank Van Patter of Milford township, Mrs. J. A. Nash and Mrs. C. G. Easton on near Los Angeles, and three sons, O. F. Smith, W. L. Smith and C. E. Smith all of near Los Angeles.
