THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, September 3, 2008.

Tessie Lowe, 92, of Slater, died Saturday, Aug. 30, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Tessie was born in New York, where she was raised and educated. Tessie and her husband, Franklin, moved from New York to Slater in 1981.

She is survived by one son, Frank (Dorothy) Lowe, of New York; one son-in-law, Robert Hill, of Warsaw, Mo.; two grandchildren, Tim (Lori) Hill, of Cambridge, and Chris (Jeannie) Hill, of Perry; four great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin, in 1995; and one daughter, Dorothy Hill, in 1982.
