Colo Child Dies of Spinal Meningitis

COLO, Feb. 7. - Ralph Julia Handsaker, two-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Handsaker of Colo, died Thursday evening about 9 o'clock after a three weeks' illness. Pneumonia, which developed into spinal meningitis, was the cause of death.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Colo Evangelical church. The Rev. P. E. Miller will be in charge. Burial will be in the Colo cemetery.
Besides the parents, three sisters and a brother survive. They are: John, Margaret, Bernice and Annabelle.

Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Gibson, Walter Rainbolt and daughter, Abbie, attended the funeral services of their cousin Ralph Handsaker held Saturday at the Evangelical church at Colo. Burial was in the Nevada cemetery.

FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR COLO CHILD
COLO — Funeral services for Ralph Handshaker Jr., • two-year-old eon of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Handsaker of Colo, who died Feb. 6. were heLd last Saturday at the Evangelical church here. The Rev. Park E. Miller, pastor, was in charge.
A mixed quartette composed of Mrs. Charles Yeager, Mrs. Chet. Myers, T. M. Smith and Ross King sang several selections.
The pall bearers were cousins of the deceased: Misses Leona Day, Eloise Jones, Genevieve and Virginia Brooks. The flowers were placed by Avalea Crosby and Kathryn Ginter. Burial was in the Nevada cemetery.
Some of those in attendance at the funeral from out-of-town were: Mrs. Day and daughter from Shipley, Mrs. Margaret Webb, Olewein. Orville Brooks from Blue Earth, Minn.; Mr.. and Mrs: David Brooks, Mr. J. Hines, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Handsaker, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Handsaker, Mr. and Mrs. Wm Handsaker, and Silvina Day all of Nevada, and Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Gibson, and Mr. Rainbolt and daughter of Gilbert.
