AGED STORY CITY WOMAN DIES THURS.

STORY CITY. Feb. 7 — Mrs. Rasmus Thorson. 83, died at her home in Story City about 8 o'clock Thursday evening of old age and complications. Mrs. Thorson had been confined to bed since Thanksgiving.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 o'clock at the home and at 2 o'clock at the Emanuel Lutheran church. Burial will be in the Story City cemetery.

Mrs. Thorson was born in Norway. She came to this county about 50 years ago and has lived in Story City for the past 36 years. She would have been 84 years old in March.

Three sons and two daughters survive. They are: Mrs. T. K. Henderson, Mrs. Lizzie Jacobson and Gearhart Thorson, all of Story City; Peter of St. Paul, Minn.; and Nels of Butterfield, Minn.
