MRS. ANNIE M'CAULEY DIES HERE THURSDAY

Mrs. Annie McCauley. 85, died Thursday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs, S. Skogsberg, Ames, of heart failure resulting from old age.

Funeral services will be held at the Loring church southwest of Maxwell Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.

Mrs. McCauley has made her home with her daughter for the past five years. She spent most of her life in the Loring community. She was born in Marienburg, Austria, on Feb. 5, 1844. In 1861 she was married to Samuel McCauley and the couple moved to the Loring community about 1868. In 1910 Mrs. McCauley moved to Ames.

Four children survive. They are: Mrs. Skogsberg and Mrs. W. B. Acheson, both of Ames; and Andrew and Robert of Des Moines. Two children preceded Mrs. McCauley in death. They were: Mrs. Agatha McMorron of Pittsburg, Pa., and Charles of Lansing, Mich.
