Lucinda Neel Dies In East Recently

Miss Lucinda Neel, former resident of Ames and member of the First Baptist church here, died Jan. 14 at the home of Her niece, Mrs. Esther Cook Carlston in Pittsburgh, Pa., according to word received here today.

Death was very sudden and was caused by pneumonia. Burial was made at Livomia, N. Y., beside the graves of her father and mother and near the Baptist church where Miss Neel sang in the choir as a young girl more than 50 years ago.

Miss Neel lived with her sister Mrs. Stephen Cook at 1111 Kellogg avenue in Ames and moved from here to Des Moines.
