FORMER STORY COUNTY MAN KILLED BY TRAIN
CAMBRIDGE, Feb. 5, - Will Scott, 40, former resident of Story County and a brother of Mrs. Jess Christy, Mrs. A. K. Applegate, and Mrs. Telene Thorson, all of Cambridge, and Mrs. George Brown of Mitchellville, was instantly killed Friday night near his home at Cheyene Wells, Colo., when the truck he was driving was struck by a train.
The four sisters and two brothers, Donald and Charles, both of Des Moines, left for Colorado Monday to attend the services, which were to be held this afternoon.
Another sister, Mrs. Wagner Rozen of Ft. Dodge, was unable to make the trip. Mr. Scott's mother, who lives at Des Moines, is spending the winter at California and will be at the funeral. Mr. Scott's wife and two small children survive.
