GEORGE RASMUSSEN COMMITS SUICIDE

NEVADA, Feb. 3, - George Rasmussen, 24, son of Mrs. Chris Rusmussen of west of Nevada, committed suicide sometime between Friday night and Sunday morning by blowing nearly the entire top of his head off with a shotgun.

The body was found Sunday morning in a calf pen in the barn. Building up a support for the gun, Rasmussen had pulled the trigger with his left foot. The charge. entered his head squarely between the eyes.

When Rasmussen left home Friday evening, Mrs. Rasmussen thot nothing of it as George, altho not unbalanced, had always been peculiar and would frequently leave home for week-ends without telling where he was going, altho he always returned.

Nine brothers survive. They are Fred. William and John of Nevada; Albert, Hans, Nels, Frank and Jesse of Los Angeles, Cal., and Oscar of San Diego. Cal., George's father died about a year ago.

No funeral arrangements have been made.
