Former Iowa State Student Dies Of A Mysterious Malady

BERKELEY, Cal., Jan. 30, - A mysterious" malady brought death today to Neil Beeson, 27, former wrestler at Iowa State college.

Physicians were unable to diagnose his case. County Coroner Dr. Grant D. Miller will perform an autopsy.

Beeson was an assistant in the mechanics department of the University of California.

Neil Beeson was a student at Iowa State college for two years, a checkup at the office of the registrar revealed today. He left the college in the spring of 1920. He was enrolled in the mechanical engineering department.

Hugo Otopalik, wrestling coach said this morning that Beeson was on the wrestling squad while he was in school but never represented Iowa State on the mat. He competed in the 125-pound class.
