FUNERAL HELD FOR D. A. ALLARD THURS.

NEVADA, Jan. 3, - D. A. Allard, 81, native of New Hampshire and a long time resident of Story county, died early Tuesday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E. M. Kriner. Mr. Allard had been in ill health for three years.

Funeral services were held at the Kriner house at 1:30 p. m., Thursday. Interment was in the Colo cemetery.

Mr. Allard came to Story county 60 years ago. He was married to Samantha McQuillin in 1871 and lived near Colo until 1907 when they moved to Truro. In 1910 they moved to Canistota, S. D., where Mrs. Allard died in 1927.

Four daughters, Mrs. E. M. Kriner and Mrs. Mina Glenn of Nevada, Mrs. Della Allard of Greenfield, Okla., and Mrs. Vivian Packard of California, and one son, Dan Allard, Jr., of Canistota, S. D., survive.
