Mrs. J. W. Newlin, Former Ames Resident, Dies Sunday

Funeral services for Mrs. J. W. Newlin, 59 years old, who died Sunday in Los Angeles, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at the Ontario church. The Rev. H. A. Browning, pastor of the Ames Church of Christ, will be in charge.

Mrs. Newlin, a former resident of Ames, had been ill with paralysis for two years. Her husband died six years ago at Portland, Ore., while on a western trip with Mrs. Newlin. After her husband's death, and until two years ago, Mrs. Newlin made her home here with he sister, Mrs. W. B. Miller, 114 Des Moines avenue.

She is survived by two sons, Bert and Jess, a daughter, Mrs. Ora Williams, all of Los Angeles, and two brothers, Frank and Walter Davis, of Collison, Ill.
