Mrs. A. F. Sargent Dies Suddenly at Her Slater Home

SLATER. Jan. 3 - Mrs. Adolph Sargent, 67 years old, died very suddenly at her home here Wednesday night. Her husband being ill with the ful, she had gone to the basement to attend to the furnace. When she returned, she sat down, and died in her chair about 8 p. m.

Funeral services will be held at the Congretational church here Saturday afternoon at 2:30, and burial will be at Polk City.

Mrs. Sarggent was born at Polk City, and for may years after her marriage at Polk City lived on a farm south of her. She and her husband had lived here for about 10 years. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Port Sargent of south of here and Charles Sargent of Clinton, and two daughters, Mrs. Ralph Coon of Des Moines, and Mrs. Bert Carroll of Norway, Ia.
