Halee Lynn Backoff, stillborn daughter of Brienne J. Brinton and Robert E. Backoff of Nevada, died Wednesday, March 12, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.

Survivors include her parents; a sister, Alyssa Backoff at home; grandparents, Jim and Mildred Backoff of Maxwell, Paul and Peggy Brinton of Nevada and Sheri Brinton of Fort Dodge; and great-grandparents, Jerry and Donna Trainer of Fort Dodge, Dale Marvin of Fort Dodge and Phyllis Brinton of Florida.

She is preceded in death by her paternal great-grandfather, Robert Brinton, and her maternal great-grandmother, Shirley Marvin.

Graveside services were held Saturday, March 15, at the Nevada Municipal Cemetery with Pastor Dennis Reynolds officiating. A memorial fund has been established. Chet Ryan Mortuary, Nevada, handled arrangements.
