LESTER WM. BACH LAID TO REST

Lester William Bach, son of Philip and Marie Ritter Bach, was born January 1. 1904, and died March 12, 1956, after a two-week illness. He was 52 years, 2 months and 11 days old. During his early life he lived near Baxter, Ia. On Dec. 26, 1928, Lester W. Bach was united in marriage to Rosella Mayer. Since that time they have farmed in the Baxter and Melbourne areas, and came to the Collins community in 1944.

Lester Bach is survived by the widow, Rosella Meyer Bach; by one daughter Alma (Mrs Russel Coleman) of near Marshalltown, and by one son Max, who is at home, and by three grandchildren; David. Linda and Janna Bach. He is also survived by two brothers, Harry Bach and Carl Bach both of Baxter, and by five sisters: Marie (Mrs Elmer Achtemeier) of Newton, Anna (Mrs Harold Stearns) of Grinnell, Florence (Mrs Ross Altemeier) of Denver, Colo., Tillie (Mrs Leo Halter) of Baxter, and Mrs Jessie Meyer of Baxter, and by numerous nieces and nephews.
