HAZEL LUCILLE ATKINSON

Hazel Lucille Atkinson, 21, died Tuesday at a sanitarium at Ottumwa, where she had been taken for treatment for lung trouble, on July 24. She was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Atkinson of Collins, and a granddaughter of Isaac Atkinson Of near Nevada.

Lung trouble following an attack of the flu a few months ago, was the cause of death. Hazel Lucille Atkinson was born at Collins, June 28, 1915. She attended the Collins schools and graduated with the class of 1933, after which she attended a business college at Cedar Rapids. Finishing her course there she found employment and worked there until her illness.

She leaves besides her parents, four brothers and three sisters, the brothers are Carl and Earl of Waterloo, Dale of Malvern, and Lowell of Collins; while the sisters are Ruth, Mildred and Doris Mae, all at home.
