Mr.s Louie Osborn, 78, Route 2, died at her home about 1:25 p.m. Monday after an illness of about two years.
Born at Roland, she had been a resident of Ames since 1903.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Osborn is survived by her husband, G. L. Osborn; two sons, Wayne of route 2 and Archie, Zearing; a daughter, Mrs. Aileen Swanson, Luverne; two sisters, Mrs. Sam Tokheim, Story City and Mrs. Josephine Brattebo, also of Ames, and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday from the Adams Funeral Home with the Rev. Hector Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, north of Ames.
