Allan Banks Gibb III, 56, of Ames, died Sunday, Feb. 24, of congestive heart failure at Mary Greeley Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 29, at Adams Funeral Home.

Allan Banks Gibb III was born May 1, 1951, in Ames, to Allan Banks Gibb Jr. and Maxine (Sutter) Gibb. He was a 1970 graduate of Ames High School. He married Rosemarie Morning. He enjoyed reading and working outdoors.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemarie; one daughter, Sarah Gibb; one son, Adam Gibb; and four grandchildren.
