Margaret L. Booth, 92, of Story City died Friday Nov. 24, 2006 at Bethany Manor in Story City. Graveside services will be Thursday Nov. 30, 2006 at 11:30 a.m. at Story City Cemetery.

Margaret was born-March 5, 1914 in rural Butler County, Iowa to Clinton and Jessie (Kahuda) Lockwood. She married Frank Booth on Oct. 21, 1941. He died April 21, 1966. She was a Beauty Operator at the Beauty Nook and was an instructor at Mason City LaJames School of Beauty for four years. She moved to Story City in July of 1945. Margaret was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and a volunteer at RSVP.

She is survived by a niece Ruth Elphic of Hampton.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents; her husband and a sister, Leone Lockwood.
