THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Sunday, January 13, 2008.

Landon Bruce Bentley, 3 months, of Ames, died Thursday, Jan. 10, at Mary Greeley Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, at First Evangelical Free Church of Ames. Burial will be in Ames Municipal Cemetery.
Landon Bentley was born Oct. 15, 2007, to Jeff and Laura Bentley in Ames. He truly was a blessing. He was treasured and loved deeply by family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Jeff and Laura Bentley, of Ames; maternal grandparents, Bruce and Debbie Beerman, of Lakewood, N.J.; paternal grandparents, Bill and LuAnn Smith, of Carson, and Rodney and Laura Bentley, of Macedonia; maternal great-grandmother, Gretchen Young, of Des Moines; paternal great-grandparents, Bernadine Grove, of Macedonia, Marjorie Bentley, of Macedonia, and Hall Smith, of Oakland; uncles and aunts, Devin and Stephanie Beerman, of Hoffman Estates, Ill., and John and Andrea Bentley, of Macedonia; great aunts and uncles; and cousins.

He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Charles Young, Gloria and Morty Beerman, Dean Grove, Sherwood Bentley and Donna Smith.

A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at First Evangelical Free Church of Ames, 2008 24th St., Ames.

Stevens Memorial Chapel is assisting with arrangements.
