THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, January 10, 2008.

James "Stoney" V. Clayberg, 69, of Story City, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Story City. Burial will be at a later date in Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 tonight at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Story City.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Clayberg, of Story City; one son, Kirt (Dawn) Clayberg, of Ankeny; three daughters, Kim (Brad) Wyatt, of Story City, Kia Chamberlin, of Phoenix, and Karla (Jamie) Concannon, of Story City; one brother, Dave (Charlene) Clayberg, of Marcus; two sisters, Lois Christian, of Story City, and Sandra (Jack) South, of Phoenix; one sister-in-law, Diane Clayberg, of Story City; and eight grandchildren.

A memorial has been established in his name.

Soderstrum Funeral Home of Story City is in charge of arrangements.
