(Mary) Lorena Brown, 87, of Nevada died Saturday, Dec. 29, at Story County Medical Center in Nevada of complications from a stroke suffered Nov. 26. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 2, at Stevens Memorial Chapel in Ames. Burial followed in the Nevada Municipal Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in her name. A full obituary will appear in next week's Nevada Journal.
