Collins, Feb. 4 - John Biesnecker, 62, former druggist of Collins, died Monday afternoon at 5:30, at his home in Lake Worth, Florida, after an illness of 5 months. The deceased came to Collins as a young man and engaged in the drug business. Disposing of his interests in 1927, the family moved to Lake Worth, Florida, where he was employed in the wholesale paint and hardware business. He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Myrtle Shearer of Collins, three daughters, Kathleen Kirkman, of Lake Worth, Florida, Imogene Johns of Louisville, Kentucky, Adair Connell of Lake Worth and a son, Conrad, who is a marine, stationed in the Virgin Islands; four grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. John Bear of Rhodes, Mrs. John Bollanbacker of Melbourne, Mrs. Ed Barnard of State Center; and a brother, Conrad Biesnecker of near Marshalltown.
The deceased was born in Germany and came to this country with his parents when he was five years old. The family settled near Melbourne where he grew to manhood. Funeral services and burial will be at Lake Worth, Florida.
