IN MEMORY OF
CAROL PRITCHARD
In tears we saw you sinking,
And watched you fade away
Our hearts were really breaking
But we couldn't make you stay.

God watched you as you suffered
He knew you had your share
So He tenderly closed your weary eyes
And took you in His care.

But when we saw you sleeping
Peacefully, free from pain
We could not wish you back
To suffer that again.

Our hearts still ache with sadness
And secret tears still flow.
What it meant to lose you
Only God will know!

To your place of rest we wander
Where we say a little prayer
But no one knows the heartache
As we turn and leave you there.

To the many friends and relatives of Carol:
Our thanks to all of you for your love and prayers and for your remembrances and memorials during Carol's lengthy illness and at the time of her death. She was such a very special mother, grandmother, sister and friend and already we are lost without her. Sometimes life gives us burdens that are hard to bear but with your love and support and God's help, the healing will come. A special thanks to Pastor Tom Lee, Nicole Singer and staff at Maxwell Medical Clinic and to the very wonderful and compassionate nurses at Story County Medical Clinic. May God bless each and everyone of you.
