Hilda L. Soren, 95, of Story City, died Oct. 5, at Bethany Manor in Story City. Services will be at 10 a.m. at Bethany Manor Chapel in Story City on Tuesday, Oct. 9. Burial will be in the Story City Cemetery.

Hilda L. Soren was born May 6, 1912, near Story City to Lars and Nora (Nilsen) Skeie. She married Clifford Soren on Dec.16, 1931. He died Dec. 19, 1991.

She is survived by one daughter, Bonnie (Tom) Holm, of Ankeny; two grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.

Soderstrum Funeral Home, 618 Lafayette Story City, is in charge of arrangements.
