Angeline Margaret Klonglan Hull, age 92, of Slater died Sept. 16 at Madrid Home in Madrid. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Slater. Rev. Heidi Williams will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Church Cemetery.
Angeline was born Jan. 5, 1915, in Slater to Christ M. and Maggie (Sheldahl) Tweedt. She was a lifetime resident of Slater until moving to Madrid Home two and one-half years ago. She was member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, participated in the Forget Me Not Club and enjoyed various card games.
She is survived by two daughters, Marlene (Len) Wirth of Slater and Sandy (Larry) Larson of Ames; one son, Keith (Gail) Klonglan of Ames; seven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and two sisters-in-law, Mildred Tweedt of Slater and Elvara Nichols of Muncie, Indiana.
Angeline was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Klonglan on Sept. 15, 1966, and later by her second husband, Clifford Hull; and four brothers, Ervin, Carroll, Orville, and Chesley Tweedt.
A time for viewing only will be held 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, at the Soderstrum-Riis Funeral Home in Slater.
The family will be present for visitation one hour prior to the service at the church 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning.
