Feb. 24, 1921-Sept. 15, 2007

Lucille Weuve, 86, of Nevada, died Saturday, Sept. 15, at Story County Long Term Care in Nevada. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, at Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada.

Lucille Weuve was born Feb. 24, 1921, in Story City, to Hans and Anna (Thompson) Stoll. She was a homemaker and employed as a teacher's assistant, working with special needs students. She loved her children, grandchildren and family.

She is survived by her husband, Orville, one son, Jerry (Vonnie) Weuve, and one daughter, Vicki (Tom) Cashman, all of Nevada; five grandchildren, Scott McAtee, Courtney and Ryan Kramer, Jennifer Hand, and Chad Weuve; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Terry; one brother, Harry Stoll; and six sisters, Julia Roberson, Kathryn Turner, Clarice Enick, Grace McCullough, Gertrude Sallo and Thelma Blankendorf.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada.

Bacon Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
