Genevieve O. (Wierson) (Buck) Dobson, 90, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Sept. 15, at home of an extended illness. Services were today at Central Assembly of God Church in Cedar Rapids. Burial was in Palestine Cemetery in Leon.

Genevieve O. Wierson was born March 20, 1917, in Story City, the daughter of Werner M. and Sarah E. Egemo Wierson. She married Howard Buck, who preceded her in death in 1946. She then married Robert L. Dobson Aug. 26, 1955. She worked as a telephone operator in Ames. She moved with her husband to the Cedar Rapids area in March 1959.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; two sons, Gary Buck, of Belle Plaine, and Roy Dobson, of Hamilton, Ohio; two daughters, Judie Peterson, of Cedar Rapids, and Cynthia Lanpher, of Onslow; three brothers, Stanley, Archie and David Wierson; three sisters, Edith Swett, Vivian Wierson and Sharon Morrison; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband and one grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Central Assembly of God Church or to Mercy Hospice.
