THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Sunday, August 26, 2007.

David McCall Allen, 70, died Friday, Aug. 24, at Kavanagh House in Des Moines.

He is survived by his son Andrew (Hollie), of Huxley; daughters Stephanie Flint (Al), of Goldsboro, Md., and Darcy Chambers (Kemp), of Queenstown, Md.; sister Jane McCoy, of Fresno, Calif.; brother Edward Allen (Sandi), of Ft. Calhoun, Neb.; his companion Doris Bennett, of Perry; seven grandchildren, Ashton, Drew and Darcy Allen, Addison and Karlin Flint, and Keep and Dayce Chambers.

Memorial services will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28 at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church in Perry. There will be a graveside service at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 29 at the Nevada Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Central Iowa or Youth and Shelter Services in Ames and may be left at Hastings Funeral Home in Perry.
