Kenneth Skare, 68, of Carthage, Missouri, formerly of Story City, died July 31, 2006. Memorial services were held Aug. 7, 2006 at Christ Lutheran Church in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas with Dr. Charles E. Gilmore and Rev. Leland Lochhaas presiding. Organ music was performed by Alice Wright.

Kenneth Skare was born Sept. 29, 1937 to Jennings and Millie Skare. He was baptized Nov. 14, 1937 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Story City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jim Skare.
