THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, July 13, 2007.

Logan Goettsch, 18 months, died Wednesday, July 11, in Rochester, Minn., from complications of near drowning on June 23. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 14, at Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Burial will be in Collins Evergreen Cemetery.

Logan Goettsch was born Dec. 18, 2005, to Chris Goettsch and Daniell Wentzel. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Dominick Wentzel and Rowyn Goettsch; one sister, Cassidy Kay Clair; paternal grandmother, Shellie Goettsch, of Georgia; paternal grandfather, Randy Goettsch, of Maxwell; maternal grandmother, Rhonda Day, of Boone; maternal grandfather, Danny Wentzel, of Austin, Minn.; maternal great-grandparents, Maryle and Dave Franklin, of Collins; and maternal great-grandmother, Sharon Wentzel of Austin, Minn.

Visitation with the family will be from 7 to 8:30 tonight at the funeral home.

Bacon Funeral Home of Nevada is in charge of arrangements.
