Russell Ray Mino, 50, of Huxley, died Tuesday, June 19, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, June 25, at Stevens Memorial Chapel in Ames, with Jim Hartman officiating.

Russell Ray Mino was born Dec. 30, 1956, in Estherville, to Larry Mino and Lea (Mino) Evans. He graduated from Fort Dodge High School. He was an electrician by trade. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and boating and was a skilled woodworker.

He is survived by his mother, Lea (Melvin) Evans, of Bella Vista, Ark.; his father, Larry (Audrey) Mino, of Conrad; two sisters, Jackie (Jeff) Denning, of Kingwood, Texas, and Kimberly (Randy) Evans, of Grimes; his grandmother, Pearl Mino, of Conrad; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Eleanor Willardson, and paternal grandfather, Glen Mino.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Israel Family Hospice House.
