Vivian E. Nelson, passed away on April 1, 2007 at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

She was born on October 12, 1924 in Nevada, Iowa to Arthur and Eleanor Reedholm. She married Donald L. Nelson on August 13, 1950. Together they raised two sons, F. William Nelson and Thomas A. Nelson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son F. William Nelson, her sister Agnes Piet and her brother Edwin Reedholm. She is survived by her son Thomas A. Nelson, grandson Joseph D. Nelson and her brother Glenn Reedholm.

She was a life long resident of Nevada until the fall of 2003 when she moved to Colorado Springs to be closer to her son and grandson.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
