THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, February 15, 2007.

Helen Allen, 83, of the Iowa Veterans Home and formerly of Slater, Ames and Newton, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, at the Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Iowa Veterans Home Chapel. Cremation rites will follow with inurnment at a later date in Newton Union Cemetery.

Friends may call at the IVH Chapel one hour prior to the services.
