THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, December 29, 2006.

Douglas D. Adams, 46, of Garner, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview Campus in Minneapolis after a lengthy battle with cancer. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 31, at Garner-Hayfield High School Auditorium with the Rev. David Wagner officiating. Burial will be in Concord Township Cemetery in Garner.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at United Methodist Church in Garner and will continue one hour prior to services on Sunday.

Memorials may be designated in his name.

Cataldo Funeral Home in Garner is in charge of arrangements.
