Grace Johnson
May 25, 1923-Dec. 26, 2006

Grace Johnson, 83, of Story City and formerly of Radcliffe, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. A memorial service will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, at St. Petri Lutheran Church in Story City.

Grace (Twedt) Johnson was born May 25, 1923, in Story County, to Arthur and Gertie (Heng) Twedt. She married Reuben Johnson Nov. 8, 1945. They are the parents of Richard, Joan, Connie, Gary and Mark.

Survivors include her boyfriend, John McCann; five children, Richard (Judi) Johnson, Joan (Randy) Guss, Connie (Jim) Senger, Gary (Jill) Johnson, and Mark (Robin) Johnson; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; two sisters, Thelma (Everette) Bowman and Lillian (Irvin) Busch; two sisters-in-law, Doris Stole and Mildred Buseman; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive family at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, prior to the service at the church.

The family requests that memorials be given to Israel Family Hospice House, 400 S. Dakota Ave., Ames, IA, 50010.

Boeke Funeral Home at Hubbard and Radcliffe is in charge of arrangements.
