Carl "Mike" Gregar Smedal
March 1, 1912-Dec. 12, 2006

Carl "Mike" Gregar Smedal, of Plantation, Fla., died Saturday, Dec. 9. A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at Ames Municipal Cemetery.

Carl is survived by his wife, Maryam Smedal; son, Mark Smedal; daughters, Ann Summers, Teresa Ryan, Cathy Smeda and Annahita Smedal; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one niece; and two nephews.

Adams Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements.
