THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, November 21, 2006.

Shirley Althea (Miller) Frederick, 85, of South Ogden, Utah, and formerly of Ames, Alexandra, Va., and Lincoln, Neb., died Aug. 29. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, at Lincoln Memorial Park in Lincoln, Neb. A luncheon will follow at the Old Country Buffet.

Shirley Althea (Miller) Frederick was born in Bloomfield, Neb. She was a homemaker and wife to Lloyd Randall Frederick, who died June 1, 2003.

She is survived by three children, June Ost, of Cape Coral, Fla., Mary Jensen, of Omaha, Neb., and David Frederick of Clinton, Utah; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be given in her name to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
