Willard Gerlach, 75, of Nevada, died Wednesday, Sept. 13, in Saginaw, Texas. Services are pending with Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada.

Willard F. Gerlach, 75, of Nevada, died Wednesday, Sept. 13, in Saginaw, Texas.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 18, at the Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada with Pastor David Burling and Vicar Maureen Howard officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. in the Oak Hill Cemetery.

Willard F. Gerlach was born March 18, 1931, in Nevada, the son of Wilbur and Blanche (Dumbauld) Gerlach. He was united in marriage to Lois Brooks Sept. 10, 1950, in Fernald. He was a farmer in the Nevada area. He was a member of the Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada, where he had served on the Church Board. Willard was a member of the Cattlemen's Association.

Gerlach is survived by his wife, Lois, of Nevada; a son, Mike Gerlach, of Nevada; a son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Barbara Gerlach, of Nevada; a daughter, Denise Rehor, of Saginaw, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Craig Phares, of Gilbert; four grandchildren, Jason Weigel, Tierny Gerlach, Danan Gerlach and Seth Gerlach; and a brother, Dwayne Gerlach, of Nevada.

His parents; a brother, Paul Gerlach; a sister, Audrey Stong; and a son-in-law, Brad Rehor, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, at the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada.

Bacon Funeral Home and Crematory in Nevada is in charge of arrangements.
