Nina Mae Anderson

Nina Mae Anderson, 81, of Nevada, formerly of Casey, died on Sunday, May 28, at Rolling Green Village in Nevada. Graveside services were Monday, June 5 at the Oakwood Cemetery in Casey Iowa with Rev. Luke Zimmerman officiating.

Nina was born on May 24, 1925 in Stuart to Myron and Minnie (Lewis) Glascock. She was a 1943 Stuart High School graduate. In 1946, Nina married Frank W. Anderson. She was a homemaker. Nina was a resident of the Casey area prior to moving to Nevada in 2004. She enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint and baking.

Nina is survived by a son Craig (Karen) Anderson of Nevada; a daughter, Patricia Anderson of Pinehurst, NC; 2 grandchildren, Kathy Reichert (Brian) of Cedar Rapids and Kris Mead (Jason) of West Des Moines; 3 great grandchildren, Nicole Daub, Leighton Reichert, and Ella Mead.

Nina was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank on October 10, 2004, a sister Treva Vanlandingham, and a brother Willard Glascock.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Rolling Green Village in Nevada.

Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada was entrusted with Nina's arrangements.
