NEVADA - Keith Page, 93, of Nevada, died Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at the Story County Medical Center in Nevada, IA.

Keith was born March 26, 1913 in Waterloo, IA, the son of John Quincy Page and Adeline May (Dunn) Page. He was united in marriage to Helen Furland on November 20, 1939 in Albia, IA. Helen preceded Keith in death in November of 1973. Keith was the owner of a Paint Store in Nevada.

He was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Ames. He was a charter member of the Nevada Lions Club; a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge; Indian Creek Country Club; the Nevada Community Club and the Nevada Chamber of Commerce. He was a former member of the Elks Club. He was the County Chairman of East Story County & Boone Multiple Sclerosis Chapter. Keith was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing tennis as well as other sports. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Keith also had a love for music and had wan many accolades playing the trumpet.

Keith is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Phil and Paula Page of Nevada; 2 grandchildren, Kim (Bryan) Hasford of Nevada, and Aaron Page of Des Moines, and one great-grandson, Aiden Hasford.

His parents, his wife, and one brother, Vernon Page, preceded Keith in death.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Burial was in the Nevada Cemetery.

The Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada handled arrangements.
