Mrs. Martha Christine Osvog wife of Severt Osvog of Grant tp. died at her home at 8:30 Sunday morning and was interred in the Roland cemetery Tuesday afternoon, after funeral services which were held at the west church by Rev. Smedal. Rev. Hicks of Ames preached a sermon over the remains at the house Monday, which was listened to by a large gathering of dear friends and relatives. Martha Upstevdt was born in Howard township, 31 years ago next month, being a daughter of Thos. Upstevdt deceased. She was married 3 years ago to Severt Osvog to whom she bore town children, the oldest age two years is left to the father while the youngest preceeded its mother some months ago, to that land whence no traveler returns. The many friends extend sympathy to the grieving relatives.
