The Roland Record, Roland, Story County, Iowa, February 27, 1896.
Word was telegraphed Wednesday that Mrs. John Evenson died at her home at Ruthven. John Evenson Sr. left at once for there. This is a severe stroke to the husband and relatives as they had been married less than a year.
