Mr. and Mrs. Jeremiah Oleson, were called to Story City, this week by the serious illness of Mrs. Oleson's father, Mr. Nelson, who is near death's door by consumption.

The funeral of Mr. Elias Nelson who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H. H. Lura, takes place at the east church today. The sermon is to be preached by Rev. J. O. Oleson, of Forest City. Mr. Nelson was about 70 years of age and has been a resident of this community for a number of years. He leaves one daughter, Mrs. H. H. Lura, and a step-daughter, Mrs. Jeremiah Oleson, besides numerous friends, to mourn his death.
