THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, March 8, 2006.

Ruth Dyvik, 90, of Story City died Monday, March 6, at Bethany Manor Nursing Home in Story City. A celebration of life will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 11, at Bethany Manor chapel. A visitation with family present will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.

She is survived by two daughters, Jerilynn Frerichs of West Des Moines and Nancy (Rod) Larson of Sheridan, Ill.; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Betty at birth; her first husband, Ivan Brim in 1947; one daughter, Barbara Ann Searl in 1989, and her second husband, George Dyvik in 1996.

Memorials may be directed to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Story City.
