THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, February 21, 2006.

Margaret Buck, 94, of Boone, died Sunday, Feb. 19, at home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at Adams Funeral Home with the Rev. John Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Ames Municipal Cemetery.

Margaret was born June 21, 1911, to Theodore and Elizabeth (Larrson) Berg. She spent several years in Japan while her husband served in the U.S. Air Force before moving to Boone in 1960. She made her living as a homemaker.

She married Clarence Buck July 19, 1940, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She enjoyed quilting and gardening. She also was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church.

She is survived by one sister, Evelyn Miller of Ankeny; one brother, John Berg of Russellville, Ark.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Adams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials can be made to Ascension Lutheran Church.
