THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, February 1, 2006.

Larry Allen Dunkin, 52, of Ames, died Friday, Jan. 27, at his home. Services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 4, at Adams Funeral Home in Ames. Burial will be in Story Memorial Garden Cemetery in Ames.

Larry Dunkin was born to parents William and Lois (Gipe) Dunkin. He lived in Ames his entire life. He was employed by Cub Foods. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Minnesota Vikings and the Minnesota Twins.

He is survived by two brothers, Bill (Kay) Dunkin of Rock Island, Ill., and John (Cheryl) Dunkin of Ames; two sisters, Peggy (Jim) Pollard of Camdenton, Mo., and Beth (Tim) Faas of Story City; and several nieces and nephews.

A gathering of friends will be from 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 4, at Adams Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

Adams Funeral Home in Ames is in charge of arrangements.
