Blanche Stokka

Blanche Stokka, 920 Douglas Ave., died Friday, March 31 at Mary Greeley Hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. Stokka will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 4, from Stevens Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Cecil A. Wells of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Ames Municipal Cemetery.

Mrs. Stokka was born May 17, 1898, at Burnside. She was employed for many years at Ames Pantorium. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Stokka in 1952.

Survivors include two sons, Robert of Ames and Donald Crump of Ann Arbor, Mich., two daughters Ruth Pelissier of Ames and Elinor Emert of Sterling, Colo., a sister, Evelyn Alcazar of Dayton, Iowa, nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial fund has been established for the First United Methodist Church organ fund, and may be left at the Robert Stokka residence, 1619 Crystal Drive.

Friends may call at Stevens Memorial Chapel this afternoon and evening.
