WILLIAM GASAWAY DIED ON MONDAY

William Gasaway, 78, died at his home in Gilbert, Monday, at 4 a. m. He had been suffering from heart trouble for the past three months and had been in a critical condition for the past three weeks. He had lived in Story, Boone and Hamilton counties most of his life.

Surviving him are his wife, four daughter and one son. The daughters are: Mrs. Fred Anderson, Mrs. William Jacobson of Gilbert, Mrs. Jay Stokka of Ames and Mrs. Henry Alcazar of Des Moines. The son, Harry lives at Burnside, Iowa. There are also nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 at the home and 2 o'clock at the Gilbert Congregational church, with Rev. Alec Russell officiating. Burial was in the Gilbert cemetery.
