Earl F. Warren, 48, 1321 Curtiss Ave, Ames, IA, died about 2:20 p.m. Monday, Jun 12, 1961, at his home. He had been in ill health since last October.

Born Oct. 26, 1912 near Ames, IA, he attended schools here. Since 1930 he had been associated with the Rexall Drug store in Ames and became a partner in the store with Phil Walters in 2948.

He was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church and the Elks Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Helen; tow sons, Ronald Dean Warren, and Steven Earl Warren, both at home; five brothers, Ralph, Floyd, Albert, and Willard of Ames, and Fred Harrison of Newton, IA; one sister, Mrs Dorothy Carr of Ames, IA

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Bethesda Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert Larsen and the Rev. O.M. Severseike of the church officiating. Burial will be in Ames Municipal Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Adams Funeral Home until Thursday noon.

A memorial fund to the arthritis fund has been established. Gifts may be lift at Bethesda Lutheran Church or the Ames Trust and Saving Bank.
