Norman G. Post, 79, passed away Friday, December 2, 2005. Graveside service were held Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at Evergreen Memorial Cemetary in Nevada, IA. A fellowship luncheon will follow at the Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada.

Norman was born on July, 11, 1926 in Cero Gordo county to Clarence N. and Dora May (Stahlman) Post. He moved to Story county with his family in 1927 where he lived the rest of his life. He married Betty Luing in 1947. He worked as a mechanic most of his life, and was the owner/operator of Post Auto Repair from 1977 to 1988. After the death of his first wife in 1979, Nornam remarried Shirley Wierson in 1981.

He is survived by his wife Shirley; one sister Thelma Erickson of Nevada; three sons Dennis of Anacortes, WA, Mike (Jill) of Nevada, IA, and Kelly of Chandler, AZ; three step children Nancy Martin of Des Moines, Keith Wierson of Ames, and Doug (Julie) Wierson of Maxwell; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, and four brothers.
